MCKENZIE ZIEGLER
Stylist | Colorist | Makeup Artist
From the young age of 17, McKenzie knew she wanted to be a hairstylist and makeup artist. She eagerly finished high school and moved to New York City in 2005 to attend the Aveda Institute. She obtained a degree in esthiology and cosmetology, then accepted an apprenticeship as a colorist at Cutler Salon in SoHo. After intensive training, she decided it was time to fulfill her other dream of becoming a makeup artist and completed an extensive course at the Make-up Designory.
McKenzie moved to New Orleans in 2011. She has a large following of color and curly-haired clients, but enjoys cutting, coloring and styling all types of hair. She believes every cut and color should be customized for each individual guest. She has more than nine years’ experience with bridal, beauty, fashion and costume makeup. Hair and makeup are a true passion for her, and she embraces any and every opportunity to learn more about her art.
